Great old fashioned burger joint. The burgers were great. Onion rings were ok - a lot like the frozen Nathan's I make at home. Fries were hot and good. We will be back.

So we met some family at Chris's today.This was my wife's first trip.Her mom's family is from Siler City.We met at 11:30.Her folks got there a minute or two ahead of us and had us a table.We got our drinks and ordered.Most got a cheese burger.I got the Rollie burger.2 patties with cheese let-Tom-pickles and Mayo.Comes with a large order of fries.As we visit with family our cups never ran dry.My double was really good.We all enjoyed our meal and time spent there%Our waitress was just as nice as the last time I was by there.My wife really enjoyed her burger.So I know that means we definitely going back.
Good food for a good price. The Rollie Burger, a double burger with cheese on a big bun, is great and it becomes exceptional when you add chili. it gets busy at lunch time.
This may have been the best hotdog I've ever had. Mustard Chile onions and slaw on a steamed bun with a likely fried bright leaf dog. Excellent
I grew up in Siler City so this place has been a go too for me all my life. The people leaving negative reviews are obviously city slickers and do not know good food when it's in their face. Food is consistently good, service is as well. Cash only. Says it on the window before you enter so there's no reason to be surprised or complain. If you're expecting white table cloth covered tables then this isn't the place for you. If you're going to a place to eat to actually eat and not judge all your surroundings then you will not be disappointed .
loved, loved, loved this place. I have a weak spot for little hole in the wall diners. I read about Chris's Drive-In in Our State magazine in the "Best Burger" issue and decided to give it a go. I had a burger basket and fries. Probably one of the most delicious cheeseburgers I've ever had. And that cheese! Apparently they use Velveeta, according to another review. So. Delicious. The fries were the standard crinkly cut fare, but were super tasty and cooked just right. Soda and sweet tea are served to Styrofoam cups - be still my heart! Also, SUPER SUPER CHEAP. Our waitress was attentive and the decor was kitschy (Elvis wood paneling!). I'm not sure if I'd tell people to drive over an hour to go here (like I did - I told you, I love these types of places; Siler City seems like a drag), but if you're close by or happen to be in the area, you owe it to yourself to eat at Chris's if you like burgers.
